Giving and Receiving Feedback
Giving effective feedback is a keycompetence for successful leadership and collaboration. Feedback is not limitedto supervisors addressing team members—it also flows between colleagues andfrom employees to their managers. In short, feedback works in all directions. The challenge lies in the implementation: feedback becomes truly effective onlywhen it is delivered thoughtfully.

- have improved your ability to listen carefully in order to better grasp the intentions, needs, and challenges of the other person.
- have practised formulating and asking questions that help you better understand your counterpart's perspective.
- have gained initial experiences in expressing your own feedback in an appreciative and appropriate manner to foster openness towards the conversation partner.
- have explored different ways of receiving feedback from others professionally and responding to it constructively.
Methods
